El Cid y el Cantar en la literatura infantil y juvenil del siglo XXI / The Cid and the Cantar in the 21st century children's and young people's literature

Resumen

En el presente estudio analizamos la narrativa infantil y juvenil del siglo XXI en torno al Cantar de Mio Cid y su protagonista, Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar. Para ello, estudiaremos, en primer lugar, las adaptaciones, partiendo de criterios genettianos, la deontología propuesta para las mismas y la confrontación con los textos de la materia cidiana; en segundo lugar, clasificaremos y expondremos las posibilidades didácticas de la literatura infantil y juvenil protagonizada o que tiene como telón de fondo al héroe y su tiempo. Se pretende, amén de ofrecer a docentes una guía actualizada de lecturas para Primaria y Secundaria, mostrar que el corpus contemporáneo, más que leer el Cantar, nos permite leer al Cid y situarnos ante una tradición donde historia, leyenda y literatura conviven, alternan, se metamorfosean.

Abstract

In this study I analyze the child and youth narrative of the 21st century around the Cantar de Mio Cid and its protagonist, Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar. For this, we will study, firstly, the adaptations, starting from genetic criteria, the deontology proposed for them and the confrontation with the texts of the Cidian subject; secondly, we will classify and expose the didactic possibilities of children's and young people's literature starring or having the hero and his time as a backdrop. It is intended, in addition to offering teachers an updated guide to reading for Primary and Secondary, to show that the contemporary corpus, rather than reading the Cantar, allows us to read the Cid and place ourselves before a tradition where history, legend and literature coexist, alternate, are metamorphosed.
